Unable to type inside login prompt to connect Creo Parametric 5.0 to Windchill

Description

​​Cannot type inside the login dialog box for Windchill in Creo Parametric 5.0, and therefore cannot log into Windchill from Creo Parametric

Resolution

Option 1

1. Close the Creo Parametric session

2. Make sure no processes connected to Creo are running in the background. Go to Task Manager > Processes and kill the following processes if they are running:

1. • xtop.exe 

   • creoagent.exe

   • nmsd.exe

   • pro_comm_msg.exe

   • zbcefr.exe

   
   

Option 2

Restart the computer
