Creo cannot connect to PDMLink - wildfire cache located at () could not be loaded

Description

​​Creo cannot connect with PDMLink from Creo Parametric.

Error message:

wildfire cache located at () could not be loaded

Cause

​Corrupt PDMLink-cache

Resolution

1. ​​​Backup current PDMLink-cache folder
   

2. Remove PDMLink-cache folder
   

3. Start Creo Parametric and register the PDMLink server again
